A little piece of the rainforest for your home

Rishi bonsai treeRussell Grace has long had an interest in Bonsai with over 30 years experience in the art, and over ten years at our markets.

With his business, Rishi, focusing on Bonsai, Penjing (the Chinese version of bonsai) and Seikai (miniature landscaping), he says it’s his rainforest bonsai that seem to attract the most attention at the Markets – mainly because rainforest bonsai are hard to come by.  Russell believes people love rainforests as part of the Australian landscape and just want their own little slice.

Based in Rocky Hall, in the hinterland behind Merimbula, Russell travels to Canberra for our markets every Sunday between September and May. His works are exquisite with his miniature landscapes often including several miniature trees, stones and water. Be sure to check them out on your next visit.
