Nothing like a bit of Celtic music to get the toes tapping! Humbug Celtic Band are a Celtic band known for playing their mix of heart stirring Irish and Scottish songs and tunes. The group is Canberra based with their Celtic folk tunes played by their four members – Rachel Antone on vocals and percussion, Mal Bennett on vocals, guitar, banjo and fiddle, Simone Dawson on flute, whistles and vocals, and Frank Nizynski on bass guitar and vocals.
The four piece act is one of Canberra’s best known Celtic bands, and their distinctive vocal harmonies and rich instrumental backing have proved popular at many festivals and clubs in recent years.
You can catch Humbug Celtic Band at the markets on Sunday 18 October from 10.00am until around midday.
