Spice things up with Jeera

22 April, 2013

Old Bus Depot MarketsStallholder: JeeraTantalising aromas of spices, fruit and far away continents will attract you to the Jeera stall at the markets each Sunday.  Chutneys, pickles, curry pastes & powders, and even a few exotic sauces can be found amongst the neatly arranged display.  Home-made from locally sourced fruit and home roasted and ground spices, the Jeera range has something for every palette.

From the hot and spicy Chilli Garlic Chutney to the fruity flavours of the Indian Wedding Pickle (traditionally served at Indian weddings), you are sure to find something to add a burst of flavour to your meal.  However you like it: lathered on your sandwiches, coated onto your favourite meat before a BBQ, added into the mix while cooking or served as a side dish, Jeera pickles and chutneys are simply delish.

Having friends over for dinner?  Impress them with an authentic Jeera curry – the perfect autumn meal to warm up your guests.  Choose from Chicken Tikka, Rogan Josh, Vindaloo, Bengal Potato or Keema Alu and why not pair it up with a fruity chutney as well?

You are welcome to try before you buy, with a range of the products available for tasting – yum.  People with food intolerances are well catered for, with the entire range being gluten, nut and dairy free.  There’s also plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans.  On your next visit to the markets, why not stop by and have a chat with the friendly Jeera team and try out their range?  But be warned – a quick taste just won’t be enough!
