Keen to go green? Head to Green Savvy Sunday

30 August, 2016

Green Savvy Sunday theme event at the Old Bus Depot MarketsSeptember is the month we focus on going green. Well, making some moves to add a little more green to your life anyway. Green Savvy Sunday takes place Sunday 18 September and it’s Canberra’s best interactive market bringing together products and community groups focused on domestic green sustainable living.

Ever wanted to find a more environmentally friendly way to get to work? At Green Savvy Sunday you can learn more about electric bikes from the guys from Switched on Cycles. New to the event this year, head to Mood Alchemy for a unique range of aromatherapy fragrance products suited to the modern lifestyle with soy candles, scented candles and mood reed diffusers. If you’ve always wanted to know more about being Vegan, you can chat to Vegan ACT, a local not-for-profit community group that promotes a Vegan lifestyle to people living in the ACT and surrounds. Discover more about permaculture and meet Robyn from Pip – Australian Permaculture Magazine, see the latest in green technology for the home environment, buy specialist green/sustainable products, and speak to a variety of government agencies and companies about what programs, assistance and products they provide to the community and householders. Find low-energy-use products, organic techniques, recycled materials, delicious organic food and information on relevant sustainable initiatives. See you and your families there!
