Creative Fibre materialises at the Old Bus Depot Markets

20 May, 2013

Creative Fibre at the Old Bus Depot MarketsSunday 14 July 2013 marks the return of Creative Fibre here at the Old Bus Depot Markets for the tenth year running. One of our most bright and colourful theme events, Creative Fibre is a celebration of all things textile.

Speciality stallholders (featuring some of the country’s most talented textile artists and designers) will be showcasing and selling their handcrafted wares, from hand dyed fabric prints and yarns, to baskets, weavings, embroidery and more.

At Creative Fibre you can engage with the stallholders and designers, learning the stories behind the products and the processes involved. Well known Canberra textile artist, Julie Ryder, is one such designer who’ll be at the event. Julie designs and hand blocks her beautiful range of linen and cotton table runners, tea towels and more. You will also be able to take home original textile work, including striking garments, accessories and homewares.
