We’ve added tasty Jordanian Cuisine to the menu

Rice, chickpea and meat meal from new eat-in stallholder Jordanian Cuisine at the Old Bus Depot MarketsWe’re excited to officially welcome a new eat-in food stall to our Market – and what interesting food! You can now dine on delicious authentic Jordanian food from Jordanian Cuisines, and it’s super tasty.

Jordanian food is unique, and husband and wife team Yahya and Khawla say their food is reflective of the Jordanian lifestyle. With influences from Lebanese, Arab and Persian cuisine, the Canberra-based couple is now offering a range of Jordanian dishes including Muosaka which is a dish of roasted eggplant with beef and rice, and Fasolia which is green beans with lamb, tomato sauce and rice.  They create from local ingredients using traditional recipes and cooking techniques with wife Kwhala taking on the main cooking duties. As well as mains, they’ll also have a breakfast and snacks menu.

Jordanian Cuisines can be found in our Multicultural Food Hall, located at the old Spanish food stall.
