15 April, 2013

A Celebration of Wool at the Old Bus Depot Markets

Get ready to welcome winter at our 18th A Celebration of Wool theme event on Sunday 19 May 2013.

A local favourite, this popular annual theme event promises to showcase all of the finest wool products the region has to offer. A Celebration of Wool shines the spotlight on wool craftspeople, artists and producers. Think colourful design, interesting statement pieces and stylish clothing you wont find in stores, all unique and exclusively available from our specialist stallholders.

From fine merino items and millinery, to handspun yarn and socks, hats, gloves, beanies, clothing and everything you need to not only keep stylish, but also keep warm. That includes Carrie Webster and Michelle Law from Fiber Webs who will have an array of hand dyed yarn and specialist wool on show in up-to-the-minute shades of autumn/winter from classic reds to sugared pinks.
