Retro revival is back

Old Bus Depot Markets - Theme Event,  Retro Depot . Retro Umbrella, Chair, table and basket.Lovers of all things retro get ready. Retro Depot in March is going to be a good one. Get set to channel your inner hipster at this day which celebrates all things retro on Sunday 15 March – think retro fashion, homewares, furniture, jewellery, accessories and more.

This event includes Danielle Spiller of Out of the Ark. She’ll have a great range of mid-century furniture, lamps, china, retro clothing and more (read more about Danielle). Belinda from Abbey Road Vintage will have fab mix of vintage clothing including dresses, blouses, bags and shoes, plus some eclectic pieces and genuine vintage jewellery. An old favourite, Irina McKillop, is on board again with her collection from Ritzy Bits including decorator and functional retro items, small funky furniture and retro jewellery.

And new for this year, Wildercoyle Furniture will be offering contemporary bespoke furniture in the mid-century Scandinavian style. Wholly handcrafted from Australian hardwood in their Pambula Studio, Wildercoyle will have small round occasional tables and hat stands available at Retro Depot, and their full folio or work with designs for bedroom settings, dining tables, entertainment units, couches, and custom inbuilt furniture.

So, Sunday 15 March…let’s go Retro!

    We’ve got a treat lined up that’s sure to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Tessa Devine will be gracing the markets for the first time in a long time. Several talents are also scheduled throughout the month including Accidental Luddites, Guyy and the Fox, and Jazzy Jumpers who are fundraising for their upcoming competition in the States.

    In late 2016, Clare Thornley and her husband purchased Feltfine, known for its high-quality tops, batts, and yarns among other wool items. Clare stepped up, taking to social media to boost the business’ influence and brought modern means of communicating with fans and new customers.
