Husband and wife team Alison and Shuji Yamazaki established Wabi-Sabi Designs in 1995, and they’ve been coming to the markets ever since.
With a unique range of Japanese products including handmade Japanese lamps, vintage kimonos, bamboo tealight lamps, Yukata (Japanese Cotton Robes), Japanese kitchen products and a range of cotton print fabrics and vintage kimono silks, Wabi-Sabi is the quintessential Japanese aesthetic.
Wabi-Sabi also organise an annual Textile Tour of Japan featuring the Tokyo International Quilt Festival in January, and a Spring Tour of Japan featuring the Kiso Valley Walk in March/April. Wabi-Sabi Designs is at the markets every Sunday.
