New look, same great markets

If you’ve managed to pop in and see us recently you’ll notice things are a little different.

We’re currently enjoying a fresh new look with works now underway for the new leak proof roof.

Throughout the building works, we are trading with the lower level open as usual. Trading is also taking place from Canberra’s most coveted arts building, the heritage listed Fitter’s Workshop located next door to the markets, as well as the new Lakeside Gallery.

Our visitors are really enjoying the change of scenery and we’ve been thrilled at the positive response. We’re still on target to move back to the upper level of the markets at the end of April/ beginning May.

And despite the changes to where some of our stallholders are operating, we’re still the same great markets. Packed with great people, and even greater things to browse and buy. So come and see us soon.
