NEW: Beautiful bath times from Dream Butterflies

Imagine getting to spend your days dreaming and thinking up the loveliest bath products imaginable – coming up with captivating and relaxing scents and bath bomb names like ‘Dancing Peacock’ and ‘Starshine’ – well that’s what Lara from Dream Butterflies gets to do (along with looking after her children of course!).

This Canberra mother started her own business, Dream Butterflies Handmade Creations, two and a half years ago and has been at the market for the last few months. Lara creates a lovely range of handmade skincare and bath products using ingredients sourced from around Australia. The range includes fizzing and bubbling bath bombs, bath bomb cupcakes, moisturisers, scrubs, bubble and bath play dough. Lara says she just loves coming up with new and cool creations and her business keeps her sane.

Dream Butterflies’ best sellers are by far the bath bombs which are available in around 15 different varieties – some have hidden colours inside, some are laden with glitter and others turn the bath water different colours. Popular bath bombs include the ‘Midas Touch’, ‘Colour Blaster, ‘Dancing Peacock’ and ‘Starshine’. Lara is usually at the markets every fortnight, she is just about to go off to have another baby but will be back at the markets with new bub soon.
