Lather up with pure and natural soaps

Old Bus Depot Markets Stallholder: Yuum SundaysBarbara Zingler really knows the business of soaps. And not the regular supermarket bought kind, but soaps that are pure, natural and gentle on your skin. Together with her husband, they have been operating their business, Yuum (pronounced yum) Natural Soaps and Creams since 2005. With an emphasis on cold pressed soaps using natural ingredients and traditional methods, they make all the products themselves. Soaps available include goat’s milk, luxury olive oil, organic and transparent glycerine soaps.

The ever popular goat’s milk soaps are made entirely by hand using the cold process method of soap making. Not a single chemical ingredient goes into them and no palm oil, colour or artificial fragrances are used. The goat’s milk soaps are available in several varieties including goat’s milk with no fragrance, milk, oatmeal and Manuka honey and milk with pure essential oils. Yuum use local and regional products where possible, sourcing the olive oil for their olive oil soaps from a local grower in the Riverina region. Yuum soaps and creams are available every Sunday from the markets and are located on the lower ground floor.
