eNews Sign-Up Competition – Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is OBDM (ICONIC MARKETS & EVENTS PTY. LTD., ABN: 33 610 470 114), based in Canberra, ACT.
2. Eligibility
- Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
- Employees of OBDM, their immediate family members, and associated agencies are not eligible to enter.
3. Competition Period
- The competition runs monthly, opening at 12:0AM on the first day of the month, and closeing at 11:59pm AEST on last day of the month.
- Entries received after the closing date will be entered into the following month’s draw.
4. How to Enter
- To enter, individuals must sign up for the OBDM e-newsletter during the competition period.
- Only one entry per person is permitted.
- Enties do not reset month-to-month
5. Prize
- The prize is one (1) x $200 AUD voucher for use at the Old Bus Depot Markets.
- The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
6. Prize Draw and Winner Notification
- The draw will take place at the OBDM office in Canberra, ACT, within the first 14 days of the following month.
- The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.
- The winner will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the draw and may also be announced on OBDM’s website and/or social media channels.
- If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, OBDM reserves the right to redraw the prize.
7. Personal Information and Privacy
- By entering, participants agree to receive OBDM’s e-newsletter.
- All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and OBDM’s Privacy Policy [insert link].
- Information will not be shared with third parties except as required to conduct the competition (e.g., contacting the winner).
8. General Conditions
- OBDM reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.
- OBDM is not responsible for technical malfunctions or lost entries.
- If the competition cannot be conducted as planned due to any reason beyond OBDM’s control, OBDM reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition, subject to regulatory approval.
9. Social Media Disclaimer
- This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform.
- Entrants provide their information to OBDM and not to these platforms.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory and the Commonwealth of Australia.
11. Permit Information
- This competition is a trade promotion lottery. Under current ACT law, trade promotion lotteries with a total prize value under $3,000 do not require a permit.
