How could you not be interested in hearing music best described as a mix of alternative country and folk? This is how Andre Camilleri describes the style of his Canberra based acoustic trio known as Andre Camilleri and the Wretched Few.
The group comprises Andre himself who has been a fixture on the Australian music scene since the early 2000s and plays acoustic guitar and sings, Dave Hughes on lead guitar, and Cheree Martin who also sings. Their mellow acoustic sounds and Cheree’s country tinged voice blends perfectly with Andre and Dave to create a sophisticated and mesmerising soundscape.
You can catch Andre Camilleri and the Wretched Few at the markets on Sunday 13 September from 10.30am until around 1.30pm.
