Learn to Knit with Amy Myers (100% Australian Merino Wool Scarf) – 19 May 2018

In this two-hour knitting workshop, you will be provided with everything you need to start a scarf in beautiful 100% Australian Merino Wool.
You will be guided through techniques for casting on, how to perform perfect knitted stitches, how to keep those edges neat, what to do when you drop a stitch, and how to cast off.
A kit with the necessary materials for the workshop will be provided complete with yarn, needles, and written instructions.
- The workshop is being held in the Fitters Workshop – adjacent to the Old Bus Depot Markets (inside the Former Transport Depot building), overlooking Brodburger and the Canberra Glassworks.
- Beginners are welcome – no previous experience necessary.
Amy Myers creates high quality, meticulously finished heirloom knitted items for babies. Her knits are mostly made from 100% Australian Merino Wool with the addition of other natural fibres when needed. Her aesthetic can be described vintage-inspired with plenty of old world charm to keep your little ones warm and toasty.
