Who knew jam could be this good?!
Emma Hade likes yoghurt and muesli and was searching for yummy fruit jams to go with these, so decided to make her own. She started her own business making contemporary preserves and jams from her home in Canberra, on Morris Street, which is where her Morris Avenue range was born. Emma is passionate about making great preserves with interesting flavours and prides herself on putting a twist on traditional jams to create something new and different. All her jams are made at her home with many ingredients sourced locally, including some from her very own garden.
The initial range includes Raspberry and Lime jam, Pear and Cinnamon jam, Orange and Vanilla Jelly and Mixed Berry and Lavender jam. She has also extended to include Fig and Honey, and Strawberry and Vanilla jam. After a lot of success with her range, Emma has just introduced her ‘toppers’ – fruit based sauces for yoghurt, muesli and ice cream that are low in sugar. This range includes Mango Coconut, Pineapple Mint, Spiced Pear and Date, and Apple Raspberry. You can find Morris Avenue at the markets on the first and third Sunday of the month.
